Authorities have reported rescuing fourteen individuals from a 26-foot boat that overturned in shallow waters in Biscayne Bay on Wednesday night.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), a boat carrying 14 individuals was reported to be partially submerged and taking on water at approximately 8:36 p.m. in the vicinity of Crandon Marina, west of Key Biscayne.
While FWC took the remaining passengers on their boat, Miami Fire Rescue transported three of the adults on board the boat to Crandon Marina Park.
Authorities reported that there were no injuries. The reason behind the boat capsizing is currently unknown.
