Two individuals accused of being “bank juggers” were apprehended by the Miami Springs Police. Reportedly, they targeted a man who had just visited a nearby ATM. The suspects broke into his car and made off with both checks and cash that had been withdrawn.
Police describe “bank jugging” as a form of theft in which criminals monitor banks or ATMs, track individuals who have withdrawn substantial sums of money, and subsequently rob them, either through coercion or by breaking into their vehicle.
A Miami Springs man was followed home by two people in a newer model BMW SUV after making a withdrawal from a local bank, according to the police. The incident took place shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

At 6:25 PM, the Miami Springs Investigations Division successfully identified Kyles and located his car. Consequently, both Kyles and the female driver, Summer Jenae Wallace, were promptly arrested.
The Kyles’ car was located with the assistance of the City of Miami Police Department’s Tactical Robbery Unit. The police were able to recover a portion of the stolen money and return it to the man.
