After being detained this past weekend on drug-related allegations, two Panama City individuals are currently incarcerated.
On July 28, just before 4:00 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s officers in the area of Toms Rd. in Ebro received a call regarding suspicious people. The people inside the car couldn’t present proper identification when the deputies arrived. None of the occupants possessed proper driver’s licenses, according to a fast check.
During the interaction, officers saw that Ethan Holloway, 25, was trying to hurl a glass smoking device into the woods. For additional inquiry, every occupant was placed under arrest.
Following that, the car was searched and various prohibited goods were found inside, including two plastic baggies that contained crystallized material that turned out to be methamphetamine.
After being taken into custody, Holloway was accused of possessing methamphetamine, hiding or destroying evidence, and having drug paraphernalia. Ryan A. Smith, a 25-year-old passenger in the car, was also taken into custody and charged with methamphetamine and paraphernalia possession.
