Earlier this month, police arrested a man for allegedly stalking a 10-year-old girl at a Home Depot in Southwest Miami-Dade.
Miami-Dade Police reported that on July 4th at approximately 11:30 a.m., Kevin Hurley, a 58-year-old registered sex offender on probation, repeatedly made contact and followed a young girl inside a store located at 19400 SW 106th Ave.
According to investigators, instead of leaving, the suspect chose to wait in his car outside for the girl to exit the location.
According to detectives, Hurley proceeded to trail the young girl and her mother in his car until a witness intervened, prompting him to escape.
On Wednesday morning, the court witnessed the appearance of the suspect who was charged with aggravated stalking.
