After the discovery of a burnt corpse in the middle of an alleyway in Hollywood early Monday morning, a substantial police presence was reported.
The incident took place near Fillmore Street and North Dixie Highway shortly before 1 a.m., necessitating the closure of the surrounding area while authorities conducted an investigation.
The body was discovered close to train tracks and numerous industrial enterprises. The location where the body was purportedly discovered was visible in live video footage. The remains were incinerated.
Hollywood Fire Rescue and Hollywood Police have been contacted for additional information; however, no further details have been disclosed at this time.
