A man was killed in a shooting incident on Tuesday morning in a neighborhood in southwest Miami-Dade. The police are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
The shooting took place in Goulds at approximately 2:40 a.m. in the vicinity of 22357 Southwest 119th Avenue.
Officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department swiftly arrived at the scene after receiving an alert from the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system. Their prompt response led them to discover a man who had sustained several gunshot wounds.
The man succumbed to his injuries and passed away at Jackson Memorial Hospital South. His identity has not yet been disclosed.
