A reckless vehicular homicide charge has been filed against a South Miami man following a fatal crash in Miami Gardens, where the vehicle was reportedly traveling at a speed of 120 mph.
In the early morning hours of July 14th, tragedy struck when Richard Terrell Hallman, a 25-year-old driver, lost control of his vehicle while traveling at a staggering speed of approximately 120 mph. The car collided with a tree, resulting in the unfortunate death of one of the passengers. The incident occurred around 3:45 a.m., leaving a devastating impact on all involved.
Hallman informed the police that he and his companions had just left a lounge and were en route to a strip club when the collision took place.
According to the investigation, it was found that Hallman was driving at a high speed when he lost control of his vehicle.
The blood test detected the presence of both alcohol and marijuana in his system. The impact of the accident resulted in the tragic death of a woman, who was seated in the rear of the vehicle.
The authorities have not yet revealed her identity. Hallman was arrested and held on a $15,000 bond.
