Reports indicate that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ private jet returned to Florida from the Caribbean on the same day that Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) conducted raids on his homes.
According to the Associated Press, there was an investigation into sex trafficking and federal authorities carried out massive operations at the music mogul’s residences in Miami and Los Angeles on Monday.
According to NBC Miami, Combs’ Gulfstream plane was tracked flying from northern California to the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda on the same day, but it is not believed that he was on board. The plane later landed back at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport shortly before noon on Wednesday.
Combs’ representatives were contacted by email for comment by Newsweek.
In a statement to Newsweek on Tuesday, the attorney for the rapper, Aaron Dyer, expressed his concern over the raids. Dyer stated that the use of military-level force was excessive and called the situation a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.
According to Dyer, none of these allegations have resulted in any criminal or civil liability. He emphasized that Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to vigorously fight to prove his innocence.
Speculation surrounding a black jet with the registration N1969C, which was identified as belonging to Combs by CelebrityPrivateJetTracker.com, increased on the day of the raids.
According to Jack Sweeney and other celebrity private-jet trackers, the Gulfstream’s alleged route from Northern California was shared on X (previously known as Twitter). The route included stops in Los Angeles before eventually landing in Antigua at 10:21 p.m. ET, which coincides with the local time on the island.
Videos from TMZ have revealed that despite speculation that Combs had left the country, the rapper was actually spotted pacing around a parking lot at the Miami airport on Monday evening.
According to Newsweek, the prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda confirmed that the jet, which was believed to belong to Combs and had landed there, did not have the rapper on board.
According to Prime Minister Gaston Browne, there is no reliable evidence suggesting that he is present in the area. He did not arrive on the flight to Antigua yesterday. The Prime Minister referred to the individuals he was informed were on the flight and stated that they were a Caucasian family of four whom he did not know.
