In Hollywood, Florida, police officers were called to investigate a death after a burned body was discovered in an alley.
Detectives and fire investigators were present in the alley early Monday morning, engaging in conversations with neighbors to gather any potential eyewitness accounts.
Local 10 News cameras were able to capture the moment when crime scene technicians diligently documented the scene, snapping photographs of a lifeless body lying on the ground, meticulously covered by a protective tarp.
K-9 units were present in the vicinity of North Dixie Highway and Fillmore Street.
Hollywood police and a state investigator were also present at the scene.
The police investigation caused the blockage of several side streets.
