Two teenagers have been taken into custody about a robbery and shooting incident that resulted in the injury of an employee at a tattoo shop.
The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) arrested two people on Saturday, identified as Nathaniel Sweeting and Elijah Young, both of whom were 18 years old. According to reports, the two suspects are accused of robbing two employees who were outside a tattoo shop located on Miller Drive.
Just before 8 p.m. on August 29, two employees were on a break behind a tattoo shop. According to the police, Sweeting and Young, armed with guns, approached the two employees and demanded their belongings.
A bystander transported the injured victim to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where he is currently in critical but stable condition. Fortunately, the second victim did not sustain any injuries and did not require medical treatment, according to the police.
According to the updated release, the police were able to identify Sweeting and Young as the armed robbers after two days.

- attempted felony murder
- carry concealed firearm
